The Blogger-Zine (First Edition)

Introducing your monthly Blogger Zine fix:

Hello everyone, welcome back to Oh My Valentino! Today we have some very exciting blog content news... Our brand new BLOGGERZINE! Alexandra and I are huge readers of magazines whether they be fashion, beauty, gossip, lifestyle or celebrity based. So we thought why not create our own miniature version, right here on our blog? Towards the end of each month, we'll be releasing a new edition featuring our loves/loathes of that particular month, discussing the latest trends, celebrity gossip, our thoughts on the hottest topics and even our favourite blog of the month, the list goes on, we'll be changing up the content each month...let us know your thoughts!

Contents:
1) Topic of the month {Secret wedding alert}
2) Blog Lovin'
3) HOLY TOPIC {The Zerrie Heartbreak}
4) Get, Set, Stationery
5) It's all fun and games...

We love everything about this 46 year old Wonder-Woman, her look, her humour, her successful career not to mention her HUSBAND... He's not too bad either *heart-eye emoji inserted here*. As we all know she's had a whirlwind of romances in the past so we was delighted to hear that earlier this month, Jennifer and her hubby,  Justin Theroux wed. Although, a little gutted to hear they're not planning on sharing their wedding pictures anytime soon after their private affair.
Everyone's going Jen and Justin mad since social media went into absolute meltdown last week after more than 300,000 fans on Facebook shared, what they thought was 'the first picture' of Jen in her wedding dress.

It hasn't yet been confirmed whether this is actually Jennifer in her wedding dress but we're keeping our fingers crossed, this dress is absolutely stunning and suits her gorgeous figure down to a T. What are your thoughts of celebrities having secret weddings?

2) Blog Lovin' {Fave blogger of the month}

We're loving so many blogs this month, especially travel and lifestyle ones as they're most definitely getting us in the summer holiday spirit! We've read many holiday/trip posts this month, but there was one blog that stood out to us in particular, so our award goes to...

       therosegoodsocial.co.uk
             @rosegoodsocial

We discovered 'therosegoodsocial' after a follow on Twitter, this blog caught our eye especially due to its beautiful layout and it's in-depth content of her trips and adventures, not to mention its stunning photography. It certainly made us want to book a trip right there and then!

3) HOLY GOSSIP: The end of Zerrie!

Don't get me wrong, neither of us are big fans of either Zayn Malik or Perrie Edwards from Little mix, but even we was OMG-SHOCKED at their split just over a month ago when Zayn text, yes text, Perrie to call off their engagement  and apparently haven't been in contact since. Very soon after, according to sources, Zayn has been linked to other well-known ladies including Selena Gomez and Chloe Goodman. What a mixture! We're on Perries side for this one, what a cowardly way out to use technology to dump someone, BIG mistake Zayn, Perrie looks like she's coping just fine without you anyway as she's currently in LA surrounded by the hottest men in town, you go girl!

4) Get, Set, Stationery with Paper Chase

The summer holidays are sadly nearing to an end for many of us school/college goers, but not all is bad... set the term off with a bang with this cute, quirky lot of stationery? Be sure you make your friends jealous and brighten up that pencil case of yours with our favourite picks from Paper Chase.

5) It's all fun and games... Draw and Guess

We could rave about the apps on our phones for days on end, but this month we're especially hyping over 'Draw and Guess' and we must admit this game has given us many hours of fun. You draw something and your opponents have to guess what the drawing is of, it's such a simple idea of an app but such a great one, it's hilarious if you're not the best drawer! Whether you're an adult or a child, the word difficulties completely vary so it's great for when all the family join in. You can play with your friends or people from around the world. It's free to download too, so that's even better!

Please let us know the thoughts/suggestions below, we love to hear from you.

With love, Alexandra and Soph x

The Battle of Micellar Water

I finally got my hands on some micellar water after I has seen numerous adverts and many people raving about it's fabulous-ness! I must say, I can't agree more! After only a few days use, I have seen results. The formula is great and even after removing make up with make up wipes beforehand, this miracle formula still manages to wipe away more that you wouldn't have even known was there.

It is simple to use as you apply some to a cotton pad and wipe your face. The formula is pure, doesn't contain alcohol and never stings so you can apply around your eye area. It requires no rinsing or face wash after use so it soaks in and moisturises the face.

I have sensitive skin and it hasn't caused any reactions and didn't make my face feel sore. I have been using the simple formula and my sister has been trialling garnier. Gabrielle says "After two days use, some of my spots have cleared up and my face feels much smoother than before."

To top it all off, it is retailing for a great price! I bought them both from Bodycare, with simple priced at around £2 and Garnier for around £1.

I will definitely be continuing to use this new found miracle and it is much lighter on the skin than a heavy skin care routine.

Only a short post for today, but I thought I would recommend these products to you all if you fancy a quicker routine or a change! Let me know your thoughts below;

with love, Alexandra x
