You're not British if you don't moan

Hi my lovelies, we have to apologise now for missing two posts this week but we have our excuses. Alexandra was away for a weeks holiday down south with her family (may I add the weather was gorgeous...I have a tan...which is rare haha!) and Soph had no access to edit our posts, how frustrating! But we're back with a bang and something a little different...so enjoy!

The British are well known for a good moan and groan, Alexandra and I are no exception. I'm not exactly sure why this post came to mind but who doesn't love a bit of a rant? We could probably go on forever with all the things that irritate us but here are our main ones...

People who don't value others opinions - If you know either of us you should know that we both have strong opinions about almost anything and everything, some people may see this as a bad personality trait but we think it's only human to express how we feel towards certain matters, especially important world events etc. Even though we feel strongly about many things we ALWAYS value others opinions and lend an ear to someone no matter how wrong/right we think they are and if you don't SHAME ON YOU.

Copy cats - Ok, so we're not going to go over the top with this as we understand to a certain extent somebody out there is going to have the same style as you, the same lipstick and enjoy the same sports as you do but where should we draw the fine line between being human and being a sheep?  Since we've started blogging people being unoriginal has came to our attention even more...you'll get people copying your exact tweets and your exact blogging content word for word. It gets so frustrating after a while as we put so much thought and effort into creating these posts and seeing somebody else getting praised for it is just not on. Being original and thinking outside the box is so so so important especially for us bloggers as standing out is important to keep readers interested.

Extra slow walkers - ARGHHH ultra pet hate! So you're in a massive rush to work/college/whatever and you get onto a narrow walkway...there's ten little twelve year olds purposely walking at -10mph...you say "excuse me please" and still do not move to the side or pick up the pace! How is it even possible for anyone to walk that slow on purpose? It's not always the young ones either...sometimes adults will also join in the '1cm per hour' race. What makes it even worse is when groups of people walk in a massive long line rather than walking single file? Not to mention when people with pushchairs need to get down a small pathway and people don't step to the side etc. Don't forget when you're out shopping...that is possibly the worst place to encounter this as very few people are willing to part like the red sea to let you through. So annoying!

Fakers - We must admit we're nowhere near the most confident when it comes to getting our bodies out.. However, we completely admire the girls who feel confident in their own skin and post those skimpy bikini shots all over Instagram no matter how curvy or thin they are, we very much believe that everybody is beautiful in their own way, after-all ' If you've got it, flaunt it' ( we're very jealous).  But the difficult part for us to understand is when some people go on about how much they hate their bodies and call themselves 'ugly' 'fat' 'disgusting', posting it all over social networking sites yet then post pictures in their underwear/the most revealing clothes you could find, when some people actually hate the way they look so much it determines their happiness and the way they can dress? Is it just an attention seeking attempt? We think so.

Make up left behind on clothing in shops - This one really gets on my nerves! So to set the scene, you go into your favourite clothing shop and there is one top left in your size, you see it and rush over to try it on to be confronted with an orange ring around the collar...EW! The make up left behind is always a distinct shade of tangerine and mainly on white clothing, but I think you should be made to buy the clothes if you have left it in such a mess! But another thing, why do the clothes get put back on the shop floor? Who would want to buy them? It's so frustrating.

Hopefully, you've enjoyed our post as we like to sometimes do something a little different compared to usual. What are your pet hates? Let us know in the comments below;

with love, Alexandra and Soph x
